What are push notification campaigns?

Push notifications are updates that consumers receive from mobile applications

in real-time. They normally slide in & appear at the top of your phone's screen.

Push notifications can be delivered even if you aren't using a mobile phone app or are not logged in to it. Push notifications are an efficient way for marketers and businesses to engage with their current and prospective clients.

How to create a campaign in Swipecart

Step 1: Login into your Shopify Store after entering your store's id and password.

Step 2: When you enter your store, the Swipecart integration will appear on the left panel of your screen. When you click on it, you will be directed to the Swipecart Dashboard.

Step 3: Click the burger icon (3 lines) at the top of the Swipecart dashboard. A panel will appear from the left. You will find a "Campaigns” option.

Step 4: Click on the “Campaigns” option and the Campaigns Page will open, and on the right side, you will see a “Create Campaign” button.

Step 5: Once you click on “Create Campaign", a push notification campaign page will appear. Here you have a multitude of campaign options to market a product or collection or automatically run campaigns using AI to manage your marketing workflow.

Step 6: You will see further mentioned options on the page:

Product

This option allows you to run a push notification campaign on a particular product for a particular audience who loves or has frequently visited the product. To run a product-based push notification campaign, you have to -

  • Select the product

  • Upload an image of the product

  • Write a catchy title and description that attracts the users

  • Lastly, select the audience you want to target, and we are ready to go.

Swipecart gives you 2 options further:

Either you can send a push now if the audience has recently visited the product, or you can schedule your push notification by clicking on “Send Push Notification” and relax.

Collection

This option allows you to run a push notification campaign on a particular collection for a particular audience who explored the collection. To run a collection-based push notification campaign you have to -

  • Select the collection

  • Upload an image of the collection

  • Write a catchy title and description that attracts the users

  • Lastly, select the audience you want to target, and we are ready to go.

Swipecart gives you 2 options further-

Either you can send a push now if the audience has recently visited the product, or you can schedule your push notification by clicking on “Send Push Notification” and relax.

Abandoned Cart

If you wish to run the cart abandonment push notification follow the same process as you followed for product and collection-based push notifications and click on “Send Push Notification”.

AI

Swipecart AI-based push notification feature allows you to manage all your push notification workflow without any manual intervention. AI automatically studies users' intent and auto sends push alerts. To set up AI-based push alerts-

  • Select the product image

  • Select the percentage of discount you desire to offer.
